History of radio

The invention of radio is considered one of the most important inventions of the world. The credit for today’s modern radio system cannot be given to any single scientist. Some British scientists such as Oliver Heaviside and James Clerk Maxwell pioneered the invention of the radio. But he could not explain the electromagnetic waves accurately.

The electromagnetic wave was successfully discovered by Heinrich Rudolf Hertz in the 1880s. A book was made on top of this, in which information about electromagnetic waves was given in detail along with the old failed research of this subject and successful research by Hertz.

It is said that this book was read by experts from all over the world, one of whom was Jagdish Chandra Basu of India. That book impressed Basu so much that he made a device based on electromagnetic waves.
